Meet Dr Joel Rosen

Dr. Rosen graduated from McMaster University with a degree in the Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology program. He also earned a second undergraduate degree in Psychology for York University both in Ontario Canada, where he was born and raised for the first 28 years of his life. He went on to attend the Los Angeles College Of Chiropractic from which he graduated as a Doctor of Chiropractic and as a member of the Delta Sigma Honors Society. During his schooling in Los Angeles, he also went on to earn his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialty.

Dr. Rosen believes his education background being rich and diverse, has provided the requisite tools to keep his patients both healthy and active. His chiropractic philosophy: patient education and informative teaching, and regular healthy living measures are fundamental components of sound chiropractic health care. Having the good fortune of being from a traditional medical family, he understands the role traditional health care plays with living healthy, but marries the concepts of alternative medicine, to view health as the combination of physical, mental, spiritual, or ultimately a holistic approach.

Following years of competing as a soccer player, Dr. Rosen recognizes the importance of patient-centered care; if patients understand what caused their injury, they will be better equipped to prevent future recurrences. Empowering the patient to avoid injuries, and reach a greater state of optimal health is paramount. Dr. Rosen works with his patients as their advisor towards improving quality of living and enhancing physical performance.

Dr. Rosen is happily married to his wife Laura, and feels blessed with his son Zaiden and daughter Zoe, fraternal twins. He has a passion for trying to live a balanced life. Some of his recreational activities include, soccer, running, yoga, weight training, reading, and enjoying going to the beach with his family.
